Child AbuseWatch.eu (CAE) is a resource centre for learning about Child Abuse awareness and prevention. Spend 20 minutes reading our Child Abuse section (above) and you will know more about protecting a child from abuse than 95% of the people you meet today; tomorrow, or the next day. Las secciones de Abuso Infantil y de emergencia están disponibles en español. Les sections sur l'Enfance maltraitée et les Cas d'urgence sont disponibles en français. We believe that an informed parent, or care-giver, equals a protected child. Where are you? This site provides information for Europe. For our North American site click here. If you are in Australia, New Zealand or South Africa click here. These sites contain localized resources, emergency and crisis information. CAE promotes Action as the means of abuse intervention and prevention. Action in the form of reaching out for help, making a call, reporting a suspicion, arresting a behaviour, reporting the location of an abuser, learning about this insidious crime. CAE provides emergency and counselling contact information for children, perpetrators, family and friends. For professionals or anyone involved in child abuse prevention, CAE is an ideal starting point for learning about the subject. CAE draws together in one place most of the services, contacts, data and educational sources you'll need. CAE investigates absconded child abuse perpetrators providing information to the police and Interpol on their location to facilitate arrest.
Much of our data
is sourced from the U.S. where child
abuse has been the subject of deep investigation and study
by law enforcement and medical agencies. As more European
sources come to our attention they will be added to the
site.
